So grateful to be able to have created a children's series to open discussion about the Bible. Drawing Bible Connections seeks to discuss stories in the Bible and look for ways these stories reflect our lives. This show aims to start an open conversation that welcomes everyone to learn more about the Bible! DBC encourages a global conversation, where people are free to ask questions and engage in encouraging conversations.

I am so thankful to all the generous, talented and wonderful individuals that contributed to this project! I am humbled to say our teamwork has paid off. DBC will soon be seen by over 100 million people worldwide! More details coming soon! :)

It has been a fun and exciting 2016! This year I decided to create a musical and began writing a script around January 23rd. Since then, I have teamed up with some extremely talented people, many whom I've worked with before, and we were able to launch the show and put on a free performance in North Hollywood in March. Due to that performance, we were invited to perform at the 2016 Annual California Association of Student Leaders Conference in front of 2,000 middle school and high school students in April and this is just the beginning! :)

I had a great time in Tucson, Arizona, reconnecting with the crew of Eyes Upon Waking. In November, we filmed another part of Jennifer Scott's emotional indepenedent film and will wrap on production in Fall 2016. So happy to continue working as First Assistant Director on this feature-length film and support Jen's vision.

I have loved working for the award-winning nationally syndicated American Latino TV. I am so grateful that after all these years, I've been able to continue to produce segments for them. Segments I've produced  include Legendary Tenor Placido Domingo, Film Director Kenny Ortega, Actor Edward James Olmos, Judge Marilyn Milian, Boxer Oscar De La Hoya, NFL Falcons' Tony Gonzalez, NBA's Pau Gasol, TV Personality Mario Lopez, Pulitzer-winner Sonia Nazario and Inside Edition's Investigative Reporter Lisa Guerrero (pictured here). So many Latinos are doing wonderful things in the world. It's a great feeling to get to share their stories.

We are finished with all effects for all the DBC episodes and we are getting closer to the entire project being completed. I am so thankful to everyone who has helped with this project and poured love and energy into it.

So fun to get to work with internationally-syndicated hit travel show, "Raw Travel", as Coordinating Producer. We found some interesting stories to share including hunting for Big Foot, Fly Fishing and Blue Grass music. Should be a fun couple of episodes!

I love writing and have enjoyed the experience of creating a children's book for a client. She had the idea of creating a story that would model kindness to children. Of course, I was delighted to come on board and give shape to her idea! The book will be on sale early 2016!

MARCH 16, 2015

We just wrapped on a sci-fi short film called "The Traveler." I had a great time serving as 1st AD and working with a terrific cast and crew! It was 90 degree heat but everyone worked together to make the film a success! I am very excited to see the final product with all the special effects finalized.

I had the great opportunity to work with and meet a great group of people while working as 1st Assistant Director on a comedy television pilot.  This was a great experience, as we filmed in different locations, including on the Universal Lot and at Imagine Entertainment.  We had a lot of fun and I hope to work with this team again soon!

Very happy to be able to contribute to a show bible for a boys' intergalactic action series.  I was able to help the UK based creator further develop his characters and show ideas and I believe this can be a fun show.  He has an animation company already on board and hopefully this show will become a reality very soon!

Just wrapped on Man of the House, an adorable web series created and directed by Kameishia Wooten (she works for Paramount in distribution).  I worked as 1st AD and had an enjoyable time working with the cast and crew!

Just got back from New York, where I worked on international puppet films with some of the world's most talented and accomplished puppeteers  ("Sesame Street", "Between the Lions" and "Fraggle Rock").  This is my second year working with this company and it's an amazing experience every time!

We just wrapped last Friday on a short film called, "Always a Bridesmaid?"  The film features a diverse cast and crew and allowed me to work on my sign language skills, as I worked as Production Manager and 1st Assistant Director.

I am very excited to announce that "Playground Politix", a film that I worked on with the talented creator/director Doreen Spicer-Dannelly (Disney's "The Proud Family" and "Jump In!" and Starz' "The Wannabees"), was just accepted into the LA Shorts Fest.  This was Doreen's directing debut, so it is amazing to see it earn so much credibility in such a short amount of time.  The LA Shorts Fest will be on Sunday, July 27th, 2014.

Another year down and another KLRN Auction in the books!  It is always great to go home and visit friends and family, while also doing my part to aid KLRN in continuing their educational programming.  It was an added bonus that the Spurs won the NBA Championship while I was there!

Back from the holidays in Texas and ready for whatever 2014 brings!  Last year ended with me working as Production Manager on a project for The Jim Henson Company.  The program was a satirical news show, featuring guest spots from Conan O' Brien, Ken Jeong, Weird Al Yankovic and many others.  It also utilized the Henson digital puppetry studio.  As always, this was a great learning experience for me.  I am very excited to see what 2014 brings!
